We all have something that seems to stand in the way of where we are and where we want to be - an obstacle. Or maybe it's a sudden life change that leaves you feeling the "unknown". My newest obstacle is my job being eliminated yesterday. I have never been without a "job", so I am feeling very sensitive to the "unknown". I had to remind myself this morning that I am a strong woman and I have overcome many obstacles in life. Some obstacles were probably meant to be God's Road Barriers, but I still found a way around them which led me down a path of life lessons.
When it comes to fitness and weight loss, there are many obstacles as well. We all fall off the wagon sometime, but what matters is that we refocus and GET BACK ON. Injury? Find a way to stay active, even if its just lifting some light dumbbells. The habit is difficult to get into, and once you have it, that habit can go away overnight. On vacation? Definitely get some good R & R, but do something to keep active, such as lots of walking.
Anything worth having is going to give you a challenge. Yes, I have fallen off the wagon, and yesterday, I fell off bad. I got myself out of bed this morning and reminded myself that life is not over and I need to pull myself together. I have a little girl who idolizes me and I have a God who guides me.
Let's look forward to the next chapters 2016 will bring us. BodyNista was not my full-time gig, but it is my passion. "The Job" was obstacle that kept me from building my passion. While life is never without obstacles, I will use this time to focus on my passion, BodyNista.
