It's Monday and for many of us, back to the grind. How was your weekend? I don't know about you, but my definition of a great weekend is one that has me looking for ways to burn off those extra calories. And besides that, who wouldn't like to burn a quick 100 calories? I am sharing with you a quick workout that can burn 100 calories! This workout is super fast, so why not go for the gold and do it 5 or 10 times through??? That means you can burn 500 or 1000 calories. If you give yourself 1 minute to do each exercise you are looking at 15 minutes MAX to do this 10 times through and take breaks along the way. If you have a severe case of the "Mondays", one time through should not take you longer than 4-5 minutes. Take care of your body and do a light warm up/cool down and stretch. Pizza, chocolate, whatever it took to not feel hungry. And that remained constant throughout the day. So, now that you understand what is happening in your mind and body during and after a workout, how do you control it? Once I really took the time to understand when to eat, what to eat, and why I was feeling so hungry, I was able to turn the cycle around and here I am much lighter than before. Can 7 minutes of working out change your body? According to research published in the American College of Sports Medicine's Health & Fitness Journal, it can. The science behind this 7 minute transformation is a series of exercises that use only your body weight and you giving it all you got. Basically, as with anything in life, if you half ass it, you won't get the result you are looking for. At 7 minutes, you could definitely do this at least 5 days per week. While this may seem relatively easy, I can assure you that it is not. This workout should have you feeling pretty unpleasant. Think about it - you are trading a 1 hour workout for a 7 minute condensed version. It should not feel good.
